Kaziikini Safaris is a company owned, operated and completely staffed by Sankuyo Tshwaragano Management Trust and the people of the isolated rural village of Sankuyo.
Kaziikini Safaris operates kaziikini campsite, Kaziikini Mokoro station and it does game drives in the concession NG 33/34.
This eco – friendly community campsite is on the way to Moremi South Gate and is approximately 62km from Maun and 26km from Moremi South Gate. This makes it an ideal base if a traveler is considering day trips into the Moremi Game Reserve.
Kaziikini Safaris offers 13 well-maintained campsites and 2 ensuite tents. The campsite is a self-catering facility.
It is also an easy, relaxing and comfortable stop for visitors traveling through Maun on, self-drives / self catering, 4X4 camping holidays. The unique, personal nature-orientated concept of Kaziikini is for people who enjoy camping and want to be in the bush, but have the convenience of being within driving distance of shops and services of Maun and doing game drives around Kaziikini or into Moremi.
There is a bar and a restaurant which provides full catering to those guests who are not self catering. Home made bread and snacks can be ordered from the restaurant.
Our Curio Shop sells baskets and accessories, culturally made by Sankoyo community.
The campsite which is located in this game rich concession has regular sightings of elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, leopard and buffalo and other species. An abundance od bird life including permanent and migrant bird species that follow the Gomoti River.
Our activities include guided game drives and escorted self-drive game drives.
Kaziikini Safaris offers Game drives in our concession NG 33/34.
Game drives can be undertaken in your own vehicles escorted by one of our guides to show you the routes and where most of the game is found.
Alternatively, game drives can also be done in one of our Safari vehicles in the concession or inside Moremi Game Reserve with our guide.
