Bushman Plains is the only Botswana safari camp to be majority owned by Bushmen. We are three brothers, who were among the last generation of the Bukakwe clan of Bushmen to live the nomadic life of hunter-gatherers.
Bushman Plains Camp is Botswana’s First Bushman-owned Safari Camp in the Heart of the Okavango Delta.
Located within a magical area of the Okavango Delta, Bushman Plains is a place where the Heritage of the first people lives on.
The camp is located within a 370,000 acre wilderness, utilizing a prime wildlife area where only two other camps operate, making this one of Botswana’s most exclusive safari areas.
Highly skilled guides and trackers lead your daily activities. Game drives (day and night) are in open-sided vehicles, include off-road driving and are the best way to have close up wildlife viewing.
Bushman Plains is blessed with permanent water channels, allowing us year-round to offer exploration of the Okavango by mokoro and we are able to offer walking safaris.
